A dedicated gym turf lane for sled pushes, prowler drives, sprints and farmer's walks, supplied as one continuous roll with no joins along its length. Short, dense 10mm artificial grass gives sleds a smooth, consistent glide and gives your feet reliable grip, while protecting your floor from sled runners. Choose 1m or 2m wide, 10m to 20m long, in seven colours.

Tough enough for daily commercial use and suitable indoors or outdoors. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2pm, with free UK mainland delivery.

  • Built for sleds and prowlers: dense short pile for a smooth, controlled push and pull
  • One-piece rolls: no joins along the lane for a clean, consistent run
  • 1m or 2m wide, 10m to 20m long: from garage gyms to full commercial lanes
  • Seven colours: green, black, red, blue, white, anthracite or grey
  • Indoor or outdoor: UV stabilised polyethylene fibres on a latex backing
Why a Turf Lane Transforms Functional Training

Pushing a loaded sled across rubber flooring grabs, judders and scuffs the tiles. A turf lane gives the runners a surface they're designed for: the sled glides smoothly under load, so every push is consistent and your rubber floor stays protected. The same lane doubles as your space for sprints, bear crawls, lunges, farmer's walks and agility work.

Choosing Your Size
  • 1m wide: ideal for garage and home gyms and single-athlete lanes
  • 2m wide: room for side-by-side work, partner drills and busy commercial floors
  • 10m: fits most garages and PT studios
  • 15m to 20m: full-length lanes for commercial gyms, boxes and performance centres

Measure the free run you have, leaving space to stop at each end. If your room is an odd size, the turf cuts cleanly with a sharp knife.

Where to Use It
  • Commercial gyms and functional fitness boxes: a dedicated sled and sprint lane
  • Garage and home gyms: sled pushes, bear crawls and conditioning work
  • PT studios and performance centres: speed, agility and power sessions
  • Outdoor training areas: patios, yards and bootcamp spaces

Laying it alongside rubber flooring? Our 10m rubber gym rolls and 20mm rubber tiles complete the floor around your turf lane.

Installation

  1. Acclimatise: unroll the turf and leave it flat for 24 hours so it relaxes.
  2. Prepare the floor: any clean, dry, level hard floor, including concrete, rubber flooring or paving.
  3. Position the lane: lay it straight along the length of your training area.
  4. Secure it: fix the edges and ends with double-sided carpet or turf tape so it can't creep under heavy sled work.
  5. Trim if needed: cut to length with a sharp knife from the back of the turf.

Free UK mainland delivery. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day. Tracks are delivered rolled; plan for two people to move the larger sizes. 14-day returns on unused, uncut turf in its original condition.

Delivery information · Returns policy

Can I use any sled on it?

Yes. It's designed for push sleds, prowlers and drag sleds with flat runners, loaded or unloaded.

Can I lay it on top of rubber gym flooring?

Yes. Lay it over rubber tiles or rolls and tape the edges and ends so it stays put.

Does it need fixing down?

We recommend double-sided carpet or turf tape along the edges and ends, especially for heavy sled work.

Is it suitable outdoors?

Yes. The fibres are UV stabilised for outdoor use on a firm, level surface.

Can I cut it to size?

Yes. Cut from the back with a sharp knife against a straight edge.

Got this for our gym’s sled track area and I’m really impressed with how professional it looks. The matting seriously elevates the whole floor’s appearance, giving it a sleek and polished finish that catches the eye up close. It’s also handled the workout wear and tear remarkably well so far.
