DuraSof heavy-duty 18mm interlocking rubber gym tiles in the full 1m x 1m size, with a checker-plate anti-slip surface that grips even when wet or sweaty. Each tile weighs around 20kg and locks into its neighbours on all four sides, so a solid, stable gym floor goes down in an afternoon with no adhesive and no tools. Built for Hard Training
At 18mm and around 20kg per tile, DuraSof tiles give you a firm, stable base that stays put under racks, benches and cardio machines. The dense rubber cushions the impact of dropped dumbbells and kettlebells, protects your subfloor and equipment, and takes the edge off noise and vibration. It is tough enough for daily commercial use and heavy enough that it doesn't creep or shift under sled pushes and lunges.
Checker-Plate Grip, Wet or Dry
The raised checker-plate pattern breaks up sweat and water on the surface, so your feet stay planted during lunges, kettlebell swings and HIIT circuits. It also hides scuffs and everyday wear, keeping the floor looking sharp in busy gyms.
Interlocking Tiles, Ramps and Corners
Every tile has interlocking edges on all four sides that press together by hand. Where the floor finishes in open floor, add the matching pieces from the options above:
- Black Ramp Edge (1m length): locks onto any open tile edge for a smooth, bevelled step-down
- Black Ramp Corner: joins two ramp edges neatly at each outside corner
Edges against a wall don't need ramps. The finished floor has no raised lip to trip on and looks professionally fitted.

How Many Tiles, Ramps and Corners Do I Need?
Tiles: round the room length and width up to the next whole metre and multiply. Tiles along the walls are cut to fit.
Ramps: add up the length in metres of every edge that finishes in open floor, and order one ramp per metre.
Corners: one for each outside corner where two ramped edges meet.

Installation
- Acclimatise: lay the tiles flat in the room for 24 hours before fitting.
- Prepare the floor: any clean, dry, level hard floor, including concrete, screed, timber or existing hard flooring.
- Lock the tiles together: start in one corner and press each tile's interlocking edge into the last, row by row.
- Cut to fit: cut the perimeter tiles with a sharp heavy-duty knife against a straight edge, or a jigsaw.
- Finish the edges: lock ramp edges onto every open edge and a ramp corner at each outside corner.
No adhesive and no trades needed. Train on your new floor the same day.

How many tiles do I need?
Each tile covers 1m². Round the room length and width up to the next whole metre and multiply: a 3m x 3m room takes 9 tiles, with the perimeter tiles cut to fit.
Do I need ramp edges and corners?
Only where the floor finishes in open floor, for a safe step-down. Order one ramp per metre of open edge and one corner for each outside corner. Edges against a wall don't need them.
Can I drop weights on these tiles?
Yes, for dumbbells, kettlebells and barbells set down from the hip. For repeated overhead barbell drops, add a 30mm drop zone.
Are they slippery when wet?
No. The checker-plate surface is designed to grip when wet or sweaty.
Do I need adhesive?
No. The interlocking edges and the weight of the tiles keep the floor in place.
Can I lay them in a garage?
Yes. They lay straight onto concrete, and the ramp edges give a neat finish at the garage door.
How do I clean them?
Sweep or vacuum, then mop with warm soapy water. The rubber resists stains, spills and odours.
