Installation — Commercial Scale, No Contractor Needed

1. Acclimatise: Leave tiles in the facility for 24h at 15°C+ before laying. Rubber settles to room temperature for a tighter, gap-free fit.
2. Subfloor: Clean, dry and level (±3mm over 2m). Suitable for concrete, screed or timber. Sweep thoroughly — grit beneath tiles causes underside wear over time.
3. Layout planning: For large commercial areas, snap chalk lines to keep rows straight. Start from the centre of the room or a fixed reference wall. Plan colour border alignment before laying begins.
4. Connect tiles: Press puzzle edges firmly together. At 12kg per tile, the weight holds position while you work. A two-person team can lay approximately 50m² per hour.
5. Cut perimeter: Score firmly with a sharp Stanley knife and steel straight edge for a clean finish against walls and fixed obstacles.
6. Safety ramp edges: Fit at all exposed perimeter edges. At 12mm transition height, ramped edges are recommended for commercial H&S compliance.
